Presentation of EASAC report on "Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing" to the European Parliament

On 3 December EASAC will organise a workshop on Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing in cooperation with FEAM and STOA.

During this workshop the scientific, regulatory and ethical questions will be discussed which are being raised by the arrival of new consumer genetic services. EASAC and FEAM set up a joint working group to review these questions. The outcome of this work will be presented and discussed during this event.

Co-Chairs will be Malcom Harbour, MEP and STOA 2nd Vice-Chairman as well as Volker ter Meulen, Chair of the EASAC-FEAM working group and past President of EASAC.
