Harnessing Research and Innovation for FOOD 2030: A science policy dialogue

Outcome of the conference on 16 October 2017 in Brussels has now been published.

The outcome report of the FOOD 2030 conference "Harnessing Research and Innovation for FOOD 2030: A science policy dialogue" has now been published. This conference was held in Brussels on the occasion of World Food Day on 16th October 2017 and highlighted successful European research and innovation outcomes relevant to Food and Nutrition Security and provided inspiration for further development of priorities which will play a key role in achieving the objectives of FOOD 2030.

Professor Joachim von Braun, co-chair of the IAP-EASAC project on Food and Nutrition Security and Agriculture gave a keynote speech during this conference on "The Food Systems approach" in which he highlighted Europe and emerging African and Global perspectives.
