Pavel Cudlin
Pavel Cudlin (Czech Republic) is an associated professor, employed in the Global Change Research Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, vice-head of the Department of Ecosystem Functional Analysis of the Landscape. His research interests belong to the forest, plant and landscape ecology. He has been studying forest decline caused by air pollution and climate change, water and nutrient retention in the cultural landscape and last 20 years he has been engaged in biodiversity issues and measurement ecosystem functions as a base for ecosystem service valuation. He worked in Technical Panel on Climate |Change Impact on Biodiversity and in Europe and Central Asia group of IPBES (Intergovernmental Panel on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services). He has about 150 publications in international, peer-reviewed scientific journals on different environmental aspects and H-index 27.
