The use of EU structural funds in science and technology

Abstract:

EASAC issued a statement reiterating the role of science and technology in developing the economies of the EU and that the Barcelona targets had been formal recognition of this.   To achieve these targets would require investment in S&T infrastructure; EASAC encourages governments, S&T institutions and regional administrations to give serious thought to how they could use EU Structural Funds for this.
