Royal Society publishes 'Resilience to extreme weather'

In November 2014, the Royal Society published a policy report on ‘Resilience to extreme weather'. The report explores the risks posed by extreme weather now and in the future. It also examines how the impact of extreme weather can be reduced: from specific physical defences against floods, droughts and heatwaves, to more general principles for building resilience at global, national and local levels.

You can access the full report and summary report, along with more information about the project, on the Royal Society's website.
