Leopoldina Ad Hoc Statements on the Coronavirus Pandemic

The German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina has published a series of Ad Hoc Statements on the coronavirus pandemic, which have been prepared by different interdisciplinary working groups and were published on in 2020 and 2021. The statements present medical, health and social aspects of the pandemic and science-based recommendations to policy-makers and the public. They follow the principle that the protection of the life and health of every individual is the non-negotiable basis of all measures against the pandemic.
