Decarbonization of Transport in Africa – A Transport Planning Perspective

This online workshop, presented by the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) and the Network of African Science Academies (NASAC), will bring together technical experts, policymakers and other stakeholders to discuss urban planning and public transport considerations in the decarbonization of transport in Africa, including infrastructure, financing, and policy considerations.

EASAC will contribute to the workshop with a presentation by Dr. Bill Gillett, EASAC Energy Programme Director and Dr. Øystein Ulleberg, on the the EASAC report: Decarbonization of transport - Options and Challenges (Key findings, lessons learned, and how taken up by EU policymakers and other stakeholders)
