EASAC-FEAM-STOA Workshop on Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing on 3 December in Brussels

On 3 December EASAC has organised a workshop on Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing in cooperation with FEAM and STOA.

During this workshop the scientific, regulatory and ethical questions were discussed which are being raised by the arrival of new consumer genetic services. EASAC and FEAM set up a joint working group to review these questions. The outcome of this work was presented and discussed during this event.

Co-Chairs were Malcom Harbour, MEP and STOA 2nd Vice-Chairman as well as Volker ter Meulen, Chair of the EASAC-FEAM working group and past President of EASAC.
