EASAC commentary published in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery

On 1 October, Nature Reviews: Drug Discovery published a Commentary by EASAC President Jos van der Meer et al., on Antimicrobial innovation. Based on an EASAC-Leopoldina-KNAW meeting held in March 2014, the authors argue that "Urgent action to tackle antimicrobial resistance must take account of all the scientific opportunities available, find new resources to support academia and emphasize the importance of innovation to policy-makers and to the general public".
